Whitney Robles attended Harrison School of the Arts from Fall 2000 to Spring 2003. She performed as principal flutist in the Harrison Symphony Orchestra and chamber ensembles as well alto saxophone in the jazz band. In 2008, she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Music in Flute Performance (GPA 4.0) from Southeastern University. While there, she performed as principal flutist in the Chamber Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Pit Orchestra, Flute Choir, and several other chamber ensembles. She was also a part of the SEU Jazz Band on alto and tenor saxophones. She was afforded the great opportunity to perform as a solo artist with the Wind Ensemble and was a featured student in a Baroque Faculty Recital. On flute and saxophone, she travelled and recorded with Southeastern Singers.
In 2007, Whitney won the Young Artist Competition for the Imperial Symphony Orchestra from Lakeland, FL. She currently teaches a flute studio composed of sixth through twelfth graders. In 2010, one hundred percent of these students made All-County Band for Polk County; one student was accepted into All-State Band. As a freelance musician, she performs for Lakeland Community Theater, Imperial Symphony Orchestra, and various churches. She is hired for weddings, seasonal celebrations, and church services. She has performed with the Annie Moses Band and various gospel artists, including Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, and Nirva Dorsaint-Ready (TobyMac). She continues to pursue a career in performance and education.
